Birth on Amavasya Day according to Hindu Vedic Astrology:  Birth during Amavasya Let us see the results of the Birth during an Amavasya Day. The “Amavasya Day” is being divided to the below mentioned categories. Amavasya in Vedic Astrology

Muhurtha Astrology: Can we conduct any auspicious functions on Amavasya? Amavasya Many believe that a day with Amavasya is highly auspicious and the functions can be held on those days.  But as per the Vedic Astrology, the days that comes with both Amavasya and Pournami are not auspicious; hence conducting functions on Amavasya and Pournami must be avoided. The Sun is considered to be the Soul; and the Moon is considered to be body.
