JUPITER TRANSIT RESULTS 2016 - 2017

2016 – 2017 Brihaspati (Guru) Transit Results for Mithun Rasi:

The Guru moves to the Kanni Rasi (Virgo Sign), which is the 4th house for the Mithuna Rasi natives; and stays there for one year (approximately). The 4th house is considered as "House of Comforts" in the Vedic Astrology. Thus the Guru would be positioned in a comfortable place for the next one year for the Mithuna Rasi natives.

The Guru would transit into Virgo Sign (Kanya Rashi) nearly for one year from 11.08.2016 to 12.09.2017. The Guru becomes retrograde in its movement from 06.02.2017 to 09.06.2017. The Guru would get eclipsed from 15.09.2016 to 12.10.2016. The above dates are calculated on the basis of “Thirukanitha Panchangam”.  As per the traditional “Vakkiya Panchangam” the Guru would transit into Virgo Sign from 02.08.2016.

Guru in the 4th Place for the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives:

The Guru owns the 7th and the 10th house for the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives. The 7th house is considered as highly malefic and attains the title of "Maraka Sthana" meaning that "House of Death". Thus by owning the malefic 7th house, the Guru becomes a "Maraka Graha" (Planet that can either bring death (or) troubles equivalent to death). By owning the 10th house, which is a Kendra Sthana, the Guru attains the "Kendra Athipathiya Dosham". Hence the Guru is not considered as the benefic planet to the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives.

Though the Guru is considered as malefic Planet to the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives, the Guru is comfortably placed in the benefic 4th house. One way, it bring excellent results; but another way, it could create troubles. Let us see the probables.

1. By positiong itself in the 4th house, which is considerd as "House of Comforts", the Guru would be positioned in a comfortable place for the next one year. Hence the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives would enjoy comfortable environment in their Career. The Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives would also experience comfortable ties with their love/life/sex partner.

2. The presence of malefic Guru in the 4th house (House of Comforts) is likely to damage the qualities of the 4th house @ physical health, assets and lifestyle.

*But the damage to the 4th house must be calculated on the basis of the strength and position of the 4th house lord Budhan (Mercury).

The Virgo sign (Kanya Rashi) is owned by the Budhan (Mercury). The Guru would treat the Budhan as its enemy; and the Budhan (Mercury) treat the Guru as its equal. Though the Guru is to be placed in the Kanni Rasi (Virgo sign), whose House lord Budhan does not maintain cordial ties with the Guru, this factor could be overlooked by the comfortable nature of the Kanni Rasi (Virgo sign) to the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives.

Effects of having Guru in the 4th house for the Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives:

1. The Mithuna Rasi (Gemini Sign) natives would enjoy comfortable environment in their Professional matters. *But the Career performance and Career stability depends on the strength of the Guru in the Ashtakavarga.

Hence the transit results of Shani and Guru will have an more impact in our life, because of their longer durations. But the transit results of Mars, Mercury, Venus, Sun and Moon are also very vital in calculating the nature of lifestyle that we can expect for the future. Thus the transit results of all the 7 planets will also have an 20% impact on our life on collective basis.

5. Due to the longer duration of Shani transits for 2 1/2 years, it will have an impact of 10% in our life either in the positive direction or in the negative directions.

6. Similar manner, the transit results of Guru will also bring 5% impact in our life either in the positive or in the negative directions.

7. The remaining 5 planets @ Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury and Venus will have an impact of 5% impact on our life on collective basis.

8. You must understand that the Guru transit results or Shani transit results or all other planet's transit results must be read based both on your Moon sign and also on your Sun sign.

* The Moon Sign is the Zodiac sign that houses the Moon during your birth in your natal chart.
* The Sun Sign is the Zodiac sign that houses the Sun during your birth in your natal chart.

For example: If your Moon sign is Mithuna Rasi (Gemini sign) and your Sun sign is Kumbha Rasi (Aquarius sign), then you must look at the transit results both under the Mithuna Rasi and also under the Kumbha Rasi. You would definitely experience the impact of the results that are mentioned both under the Mithuna Rasi and the Kumbha Rasi.

WHAT IS NAKSHATRA SANDHI?

There are 27 Nakshatras that are taken into consideration in the Hindu Vedic Astrology. The Moon travels through each Nakshatras starting from Aswini and ending in Revathi. But the movement is a continious basis. Thus after completing the journey through all the 27 stars, the Moon exits the Revathi Nakshatra and again starts its next round of journey from Aswini, without any break. Thus the Moon goes around the 27 Nakshatras on a continous basis. The entry and exit time of the Moon into the 27 Nakshatras varies around 24 hours. The Last 48 minutes or 2 Naligai (Naligai is a measure of time that equals 24 minutes) during the entry and exit into a Nakshatra by the Moon is called as "Nakshatra Sandhi". This Nakshatra Sandhi period is highly inauspicious time. Example: Suppose the Moon is exiting the Hastham Nakshatra at 8.59 am and enters ...
