  11. If the 2nd House Lord (or) Moon (or) both are in closer conjunction with the 6th House Lord (or) in direct aspection by the 6th House lord, then the native would face continuous health troubles in the eyes. Other Important Astrological Factors:
  1. For Gemini Ascendants, the 2nd house lord is itself Moon. Hence, the condition of the eyes are directly correlate to the strength of the Moon. If the Gemini Ascendant have Sun (or) Moon (or) both are placed in the Gemini Sign, then their eye sight quality depends on the strength of the Moon only.

  5. The conjunction of 2nd House lord (or) Moon (or) both by the Rahu/Ketu can create difficulties on eye sight.
  6. If the 2nd House lord (or) Moon (or) both comes under direct aspection (or) in closer conjunction with natural malefic Planets like Mars/Shani/Sun/Rahu/Ketu is likely to cause various eye sight ailments depending upon the Lordship of those Planets.
  7. If the 2nd House lord (or) Moon (or) both comes under direct aspection (or) in closer conjunction with malefic house lords (even if these Planets are natural benefice), it would create health issues in the eyes.
  8. The problems and the intensity of the problems could be varying depending upon the closeness of conjunction (or) aspections, the Star Lordship of those Planets, Ashtakavargha strength of those Planets and the Placement of those Planets in the D-1 chart.
Author's Take:
  1. There are standard school of thoughts that the Sun and Moon indicates both the eyes; and the 2nd and 12th House house lords indicate the two different eyes. But in my experience, I found it to be inaccurate.
  2. There are limitless possibilities of the Planetary positions & combinations that could indicate the health issues in the eye. I have given only few important planetary positions that could cause problems in eye visions.
  3. Every individual Horoscope would provide different story. Hence, it is impossible to list all the Planetary position that could cause the eye related health issues.

WHAT IS NAKSHATRA SANDHI?

As we know the word Sandhi means the Junction or meeting place. Hence the Nakshatra Sandhi means the meeting point of two Nakshatras. There are 27 Nakshatras that are taken into consideration in the Hindu Vedic Astrology. The Moon travels through each Nakshatras starting from Aswini and ending in Revathi. But the movement is a continious basis. Thus after completing the journey through all the 27 stars, the Moon exits the Revathi Nakshatra and again starts its next round of journey from Aswini, without any break. Thus the Moon goes around the 27 Nakshatras on a continous basis. The entry and exit time of the Moon into the 27 Nakshatras varies around 24 hours. The Last 48 minutes or 2 Naligai (Naligai is a measure of time that equals 24 minutes) during the entry and exit into a Nakshatra by the Moon is called as "Nakshatra Sandhi". This Nakshatra Sandhi period is highly inauspicious time. Example: Suppose the Moon is exiting the Hastham Nakshatra at 8.59 am and enters ...
