First, let us understand the meaning of the word “Boss”.

1. You may have the “Boss” (seniors & elders) in the family.

2. In education, the teacher, principal and the school authorities are the “Bosses”.

3. In profession, the native’s immediate team leader (or) immediate manager (or) employer (or) governing authorities.

4. In Business, the law, the tax and the licencing authorities are considered as the “Boss”.

5. In the society, the people have to obey the rule & regulations of the Government. Hence, the Government becomes everyone’s boss in their social life.

We can call them as seniors (or) elders (or) boss (or) teacher (or) manager (or) employer (or) mentors (or) gurus; (or) we just call them as “superior authority”. They may remain in our life either temporarily (or) permanently. They would be wielding authoritative powers in different form.

 

Troubles from “Boss” as per Vedic Astrology:

1. The 8th House and the 8th House indicates the various “bosses” in your life.

2. If the 8th House Lord is placed in malefic houses (even if it is placed in its own 8th House).

3. If the 8th House lord is in conjunction with malefic house lords.

4. The presence of malefic House Lord in the 8th House.

5. The aspection of malefic house lords on the 8th House (or) 8th House Lord.

6. If the 8th House lord traverse in the Stars that are owned by the malefic house lords.


Conclusions: 

1. If the 8th House Lord is combusted by the Sun, then the native would experience stalemate on the boss relationships (or) the boss would remain checkmated.

2. If the 8th House Lord is under aspection by Rahu (or) 8th house lord aspects the Rahu, then the native may work under multiple leaderships.

3. If the 8th House Lord is under aspection by Ketu (or) 8th House lord aspects the Ketu, the native may face stalemate on the boss relationships.

4.If the 8th House Lord is in conjunction with Rahu/Ketu, then the native would face deadlock on managing ties with their bosses (or) the bosses would face deadlock in their life.

5. If the 8th House Lord is placed in 3rd house, then the native would remain worried about their boss relationships (or) they would work under ceremonious boss (or) the boss would experience difficulties in their life.

6. If the 8th House Lord is placed in the 6th house, the native would remain quarrelsome & rebellious (or) face problems on debts/health issues/disputes & litigation (or) their bosses would face problems on debts/health issues/disputes & litigation

7. If the 8th House Lord is placed in the 8th house, the native would work under tough bosses (or) remain isolated from their boss (or) face bitter relationships with their bosses.

8. If the 8th House Lord is placed in the 12th house, the native would face losses through their bosses (or) their bosses would face collateral damages in their life. 

9. If the 8th House Lord is placed in the 11th house (or) 8th house lord is under aspection by 11th house lord (or) 8th house lord aspect the 11th house lord (or) 8th house lord is conjunction with 11th house lord , the native would get gains through their bosses (it would be applicable only for Taurus, Leo, Scorpio & Aquarius Ascendants) (or) their bosses would earn lot of gains.

10. If the 8th House Lord is placed in the 11th house (or) 8th house lord is under aspection by 11th house lord (or) 8th house lord aspect the 11th house lord (or) 8th house lord is conjunction with 11th house lord, the native would get gains through their bosses & but face equal amount of difficulties with their bosses (or) their bosses would get more gain & face equal amount of difficulties. (This would be applicable for Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Pisces Ascendants)

11. If the 8th House Lord is placed in Maraka Sthana (or) 8th house lord is under aspection by the Maraka Graha (or) 8th house lord aspect the Maraka Graha (or) 8th house lord is conjunction with Maraka Graha, then the boss relationship would come under difficulties (or) their boss would face difficulties in their life (the nature of difficulties = house lordship of the Maraka Graha). 

 

Author’s Take:

The problems would be minimal, if any one of the above parameters is found in the natal horoscope.

The problems would be severe, if all (or) most of the above-mentioned parameters are found in the natal horoscope.

The above-mentioned parameters would not tell, whether you would succeed (or) the boss would succeed in the tussle. *

The type of planets that are involved in this situation would tell, whether the trouble (or) harassment would be mental (or) physical (or) sexual.

The position of the Planets would indicate the nature, intensity and the timings of the tussle; and would indicate the impacts thereafter.
