FATE AND FREEWILL IN ASTROLOGY

Free Will & Fate in Vedic Astrology

Free Will Astrology
Horoscope Readings

In Vedic Astrology, the D-1 Chart would present the overall destiny (journey of life) of every individual. But the destiny (both good and the bad) would be delivered during the respective Planet’s Mahadasa (or) its sub dasa periods, along with the transit periods of all 7 planets (excluding Rahu & Ketu).

Destiny: Suppose, if Mithuna Lagna (Gemini Ascendant) native has Budhan & Shani conjunction (or) aspection in his natal horoscope, then this combination can throw number of probabilities. Here the Budhan becomes the Lagna Lord and becomes the 4th House lord. The Shani becomes the 8th & the 9th House lord for Mithuna Lagna (Gemini Ascendant). Let us see the probable impacts that occurs due to the conjunction (or) aspection of Budhan & Shani.

The positive impact of 9th house lord Shani.

1.     The native would remain highly spiritual.

2.     The native would possess creative mindset (or) looks for new changes in every area.

3.     The native would remain traditional (or) conservative in nature.

4.     The native would love to travel to various spiritual places especially with their extended family relationships.

5.     The native would keep themselves bodily clean; and remain transparent in their lifestyle.

6.     The native would have wonderful equation with their Parents.

7.     The native would be well versed on subjects that come under their domain (linguistics/religious/cultural background); and show equal interests in areas that are alien to their linguistics/religious/cultural background.

8.     The native will enjoy comfortable lifestyle (or) enjoy happiness in their life (or) enjoy good physical health.

9.     The native would enjoy the benefits out of their movable & immovable assets.

The negative impact of 8th house lord Shani.

1.     The native would behave in a impolite manner (or) react in an aggressive manner.

2.     The native would remain moody (or) secretive (or) avoid socializing (or) maintain hidden truths in their life.

3.     The native would remain undependable (or) maintain dual personality.

4.     The native would maintain opaqueness in their life (or) live a damaging lifestyle (or) keep secrecy in their lifestyle.

5.     The native would face damaging ties with their Parents (or) could be badly affected by their Parents (or) their Parents could be badly affected by the native.

6.     The native would live a unhealthy lifestyle (or) face sudden setback on their lifestyle.

7.     The native would go against their own ethos (or) would involve in activities that goes against their cultural/religious/moral/social values.

8.     The native would face serious damages to their movable & immovable assets.

9.     The native would face sudden setback to their physical health.

Conclusions:

If you read the both the positive & negative impacts of Shani & Budhan on Gemini Ascendant (Mithuna Lagna) natives, then both the results are mostly contradictory to each other. Either the positive impacts should be felt by the native (or) the negative impacts should be felt by the native (or) both the good & the bad impacts should happen in the native’s life. Here, the God has presented us with the opportunity.

1.     We should fully utilize the positive impacts of Shani & Budhan combination.

2.     We should try to minimize the negative impacts of Shani & Budhan combination.

Here, we can do this using our free will by taking right decisions through our intelligence and thoughtfulness.

Free will: We will try to find out the workable solution to minimize the negative impacts & increase the benefits of positive impacts using our freewill.

1.     We should know the kind of impacts that are likely to happen. Once we know the probable impacts, then we must try to remain cautious on those issues (or) try to avoid getting into those issues.

2.     We should know, when it would happen? By knowing the probable time limits that the particular problems are likely to happen, then we should be extra cautious during those time intervals.

Let us analyse the “Free will” that we need to possess during the Budhan/Shani combination periods.

Probable Impacts of Budhan/Shani: As per the Shani’s 9th house qualities, the Mithuna Lagna (Gemini Ascendant) natives will lead a transparent & clear lifestyle. But as per the Shani’s 8th house qualities, the Mithuna Lagna (Gemini Ascendant) natives will lead a secretive (or) damaging lifestyle.

Example1: As per the 9th house qualities of Shani, the native will involve in spiritual activities (or) may lead a high level spiritual life (or) may have a career in spiritual related activities.

As per the 8th house qualities of Shani, the native will remain tempted for issues that are considered as illegal (or) immoral (or) unethical.

In this above example, a person working in an spiritual organization may involve in malpractices like stealing (or) tampering (or) misappropriation of money/goods.

Conclusion on Example 1: The native will exhibit a crystal clear lifestyle to the public; but hiding all the unethical activities beneath his life.

Free will on Example1: If the native controls his temptation (or) greed (or) lust, then 8th house qualities of Shani’s impact on Budhan would be minimal. Here the free will allows the native to choose either to lead a ethical & happier life (or) will get drowned in a sinful life.

Example 2: As per the 9th house qualities of Shani, the native will enjoy good physical health.

As per the 8th house qualities of Shani, the native will face serious damages to his physical health.

Conclusion on Example 2: The native will enjoy good health. But on the fateful day, the native had met an accident while driving the car at high speed. Moment the accident happens, the native faces serious damages to his physical health.

Free will on Example 2: If there are any possibilities of facing sudden setback on physical health is found in the Horoscope, then those natives must take precaution while driving (or) while travelling (or) doing any kind of physical activities.

1.     It is better to avoid driving (or) making any long travel (or) doing risky physical activities.

2.     When there is a need to travel, it is always better to take safer journey.

3.     When there is need to drive, it is always better to travel at a controllable speed.

If a native who has Budhan/Shani combination (Gemini Ascendant) consume alcohol and drive at a high speed in his vehicle is bound to face serious damages to his physical health, which could be life threatening too. Here we had misused the free will.

Author’s Views:

1.     Problems become severe, if the native goes through unfavourable Mahadasa & Antardasa periods simultaneously

2.     Problems become critical, if the transits of Planets that represent the functionalities of the Mahadasa & Antardasa planets create the similar type of Mahadasa & Antardasa planets. If all these periods run at concurrent period.

3.     Destiny is supreme. Free will work only up to the period, when the native has enough time to play.

4.     Free will cease to work, when the final destiny comes.

5.     Till then, we can make use of our free will to avoid problems (or) minimize the problems, which automatically enhances our life.

What is Vainasika Dosham? There are many Yogas and Doshas that sometimes completely change the equation of our horoscope. The "Vainasika Dosha" is one of the deadliest dosha that would really upset the apple cart of many yogas present in the horoscope. HOW TO USE VIVAGA CHAKRA (MARRIAGE WHEEL)?

We study the method of using the "Vivaga Chakra" by taking a particular date as our example. Let us take the 15.09.2013 as our example date, to find whether the particular date brings auspicious results or not. Through Panchangam, we have found out the following results. 1. The Sun is traversing in the Uthiram (Uttara) Nakshatra on the marriage day (15.09.2013) 2. The Moon is traversing in the Uthiradam (U. Sada) Nakshatra on the marriage day (15.09.2013). 3. WHAT IS NAKSHATRA SANDHI?

As we know the word Sandhi means the Junction or meeting place. Hence the Nakshatra Sandhi means the meeting point of two Nakshatras. There are 27 Nakshatras that are taken into consideration in the Hindu Vedic Astrology. The Moon travels through each Nakshatras starting from Aswini and ending in Revathi. But the movement is a continious basis. Thus after completing the journey through all the 27 stars, the Moon exits the Revathi Nakshatra and again starts its next round of journey from Aswini, without any break. Thus the Moon goes around the 27 Nakshatras on a continous basis. The entry and exit time of the Moon into the 27 Nakshatras varies around 24 hours. The Last 48 minutes or 2 Naligai (Naligai is a measure of time that equals 24 minutes) during the entry and exit into a Nakshatra by the Moon is called as "Nakshatra Sandhi". This Nakshatra Sandhi period is highly inauspicious time. Example: Suppose the Moon is exiting the Hastham Nakshatra at 8.59 am and enters ...

WHAT IS THITHI SUNYA? (ZERONESS OF THITHI)

ZERONESS OF THITHI (THITHI SUNYAM): The word "Thithi" represents the counting of days between Amavasya to Poornima; and Poornima to Amavasya. There are exactly 14 Thithis that lies between Amavasya to Poornima, which are called Sukla Paksha Thithi (Days with Ascending Moon). Then there are 14 Thithis that lies between Poornima to Amavasya, which are called Krishna Paksha Thithis (Days with Descending Moon).  As per the Hindu Vedic Astrology, every 2 Zodiac houses gets "Thithi Sunya" effects on every Thithi except for the Amavasya and Poornima Thithi. The Word Sunya or Sunyam means Zeroes or Emptiness. That is, the planets that owns the Zodiac houses that are likely to get affected by the "Thithi Sunya" effect on the particular day would also be affected by this effect. That is, every planet loses its power because of Thithi Sunya effects and delivers the results in an erratic manner during its Mahadasa periods. Thus, this simple re...
