Let us first understand, what we meant by “Gaja Kesari Yoga”?


If the Moon & Guru are placed in Quadrants (or) if there is any conjunctions (or) aspections of Jupiter & Moon happens in the natal horoscope, the native would possess the quality of “Strength & Speed” in his/her life. That is, the native would be able to tackle any number of difficulties (or) any type of difficulties that envelop his/her life.

But the readers must understand that the “Gajakesari Yoga” will not work for all natives, even if they possess the conjunction/aspection of Guru/Moon in their natal horoscope.

Either the Guru (or) the Moon becomes the malefic (or) Guru becomes half-malefic for the Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius Ascendants. Hence the “Gaja Kesari Yoga” produces mixed results (both good & bad) for these Ascendants.

Both the Moon & the Guru becomes malefic (Guru would be half-malefic) for Taurus, Leo, Virgo and Capricorn Ascendants. Hence the “Gaja Kesari Yoga” produces serious difficulties along with some gains & benefits for these Ascendants.

Both the Guru & Moon becomes benefice; but the Moon acquires the status of “Pathaga Athipathi” (Lord of Collateral Damages) for the Scorpio Ascendants, Hence the “Gaja Kesari Yoga” produces gains & benefits stuffed with some difficulties to the Scorpio Ascendants.

Both the Guru & Moon becomes benefice for the Pisces Ascendants, Hence the “Gaja Kesari Yoga” produces gains & benefits without any hurdles only to the Pisces Ascendants.

Author’s Opinion: Everyone must understand that the Jupiter/Moon combination may not produce the produce positive effects always. Depending upon the Lordship of Moon/Guru; and their strength, positions & associations with other planets can produce millions of probable results.


Answer to the Question: Jupiter/Moon is placed in the 6th House (Sagittarius Sign) for the Cancer Ascendants (Kataka Lagna) natives. Here, the Moon is the Lagna Lord (benefice) and the Jupiter is half-malefic (6th house is malefic & the 9th house is benefice). These Duo (Jupiter/Moon) is placed in the malefic 6th House. Thus, the admixture of benefice Moon & half-malefic Jupiter is placed in the malefic 6th house. Let us see the probable results.


1. The native would be anxious (or) worried (or) restless (or) affected by the difficulties through debts/litigation (legal/non-legal)/health issues.
