WHAT IS MARAKA DASHA IN ASTROLOGY?

 What will happen during the "Markesh Dasa?"

Question: Is Mercury Marakesh a planet for me and will it cause health concerns or death? My date of birth is 26 January 1984 at 2:22 am in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh.

Birth Star: Swathi 4

Moon Sign: Libra/Thula Rasi

Rising Sign: Scorpio/Vrischik Lagna

Sun Sign: Capricorn/Makara Rasi


Budhan Mahadasa (20.05.2019 to 20.05.2036): The Budhan owns the malefic 8th house and the neutral 11th house for the Scorpio Rising/Vrischika Lagna; and here it is placed in the neutral 2nd house (Sagittarius/Dhanusu Rasi). Thus, the Budhan will do less harm by getting placed in the neutral 2nd house.

1. The Budhan would deliver the qualities of its 11th house during the first half (8 1/2 years) of its Budhan Mahadasa periods (20.05.2019 to 20.11.2027)

2. The Budhan would deliver the qualities of its malefic 8th house during its second half (8 1/2 years) of its Budhan Mahadasa periods (20.11.2027 to 20.05.2036)

3. In the second half, the Placement of malefic Budhan in the 2nd house will create difficulties on finances and family relationships.

4. On the whole, the Budhan Mahadasa will work modestly in career and financial areas with fluctuations.

5. The Budhan Mahadasa will bring fear, worries, phobias and mental stress.

6. The problem mentioned under the Points 4 & 5 will increase during the Moon, the Mars and the Shani sub periods of Budhan Mahadasa periods to greater extent; and during the Rahu & the Ketu Sub periods to a lesser extent.


Answer to the Question:

1. Not necessarily the Marakesh Dasa has to bring death to the native’s always.

The Marakesh Dasa would cause either death (in some cases) or bring pain equal to death.

2. The problem becomes severe only if the Marakesh is associated with other Marakaesh (or) Lord of natural malefic houses like 3rd, 6th, 8th and 12th.; and even more painful, if the placements are in the Maraka Sthan & Pathaga Sthan (or) natural malefic houses.

3. Here the Marakesh Shani is in the 12th house (Thula Rasi/Libra) and aspect the 8th house Marakesh Budhan. Hence the trouble.

4. Here the native will not die; but would undergo mental & physical health troubles along with career & financial problems.
